It was interesting to witness the different styles when you compare Baja sur to Baja norte. The music, steps, and costumes are all very different. I noticed they were very tropical like. They also had a lot of props and some acting as well, which I thought was fun.
I don't really know what to comment but I thought that this was a really great set that is very strong and very well choreographed 👏
I loved how they used props in the dancing and how well choreographed it was. They used the stage space wisely also.
I like how they were all together on the coreography , especially for el tupe, they also had really great props 😊
I got really excited when I actually knew a song from this video , I think they did great with showing enthusiasm and did a great job interacting with the crowd 🙌
This was truly a new type of region for me to watch, it's amazing how different Baja California Sur varies from Baja California Norte in comparison of the music, costumes, steps and simple stage presence. The charisma of the main idea of Baja California is clearly visible when it comes to dancing with the pareja.
I loved how different Baja Norte is from Baja Sur, from costumes to steps and songs. It was amazing seeing their energy throughout the songs. The choreography was great so most/all dancers can be on stage.
I think they did a really good job of truly making me feel engaged in the culture. From the costuming (pants and cow boy boots) to their steps, props, and stage presence I felt like I was really soaking in the culture. I also like that they included some acting.
You can really tell the difference from Baja Norte to Baja Sur.I loved watching this region because they act more and tell story. Also the way there choreography was step up ,and how much stage presence they had really showcased how fun this region could be.
This region is very interesting and unique to watch because the choreography is more graceful and slow. Its the first region I've seen that includes a waltz, I find it more traditional than most regions.
Comparing Baja Norte to Baja Sur was very entertaining and interesting. Both have different steps, music and costumes. Choreography wise I thought they did an amazing job setting it up and was very creative with it.
I really liked this region, I thought it was well choreographed and even though the stage was a little crowded it looked well organized. I also noticed that the music style was a bit different then what I am used to hearing. And I noticed that a certain part in this performance the music slowed down and the dance became more elegant and I really liked that.
I think that it was a very nice dance and it looks very beautiful
The names were unique and I'm looking forward to learning some of the dances.
the audio was very interesting and the dance was very organized.
Its very interesting seeing how Baja California Sur varies from Baja California Norte. Baja California Sur is more tropical, for example the first song i thought the dress was Guanajuato. I also noticed that some of the dances look very similar to our polkas. The choreography was very well put together and i also like how enthusiastic the dancers look
The costumes are very tropical. They seem very well put together and professional. Except, however, for the different colored shoes.
I thought the choreography was very good and I like the costumes that were used for some of the songs. I really liked the choreography for El Tupe towards the end of the video. Although I didn't like how they were wearing different colored shoes towards the end. I am really looking forward to dancing this region.
I don't know much about Baja Sur but the music sounds like a mix of tropical and a bit norteno. Like when the song/ choreography of "El Tupe" came on, it was a different feel but similar to certain regions that I've danced or seen and looks very fun. This region is very different and that's what makes it one of a kind and I am looking forward to incorporating this in my repertoire of regions I've danced.
I like the corrido of "la suegra" because its a really cute little tradition and the dresses are beautiful also
