I like how the region has different styles and dresses. The song that interested me the most was "La Suegra" (I think that was the name).
I really enjoyed the dances, El Tupe and La Alegria caught my attention, but my favorite was El Chaveran. It looked so fun to do. Most of the songs in this region are calm and slow. I really liked the costumes as well.
I really enjoyed this region it was very elegant and soft I enjoyed all the songs and the lady's had lots of smile and great posture
Timing & Spacing played a big role in all these dances. If someone was off you could notice fairly quickly, it looked really nice when everyone was together.
i really liked the dance called el tupe , and i liked the the dresses and the different styles. and i also liked le chaveran
I really enjoyed the dances. I noticed that the first four minutes of the video the songs were very "vaquero" party like songs.
The first songs sound fun, most of the songs have partner work, the dancer's were almost always together and on beat.
It reminded me of Titanic, such as how the split between lower class and the rich are apparent in the style of costumes and music. Also the skirts seem extremely soft, in how there is very little movement.
The dancers had really strong foot work, and i love the style of the dresses.
I learned that there is a region with elegant dancing and I really liked the dresses the songs were fast. El Chaveran was long. And the dancers were really in sinc with each other the foot work was wonderful. I really like the region.
All of the dances were extremely calm and softer. The moves were also very exaggerated at some parts and made it look really cool. The steps don't look too hard but have to be very graceful.
The dances are very smooth and strong. I noticed that each dance has a different rhythm. The region has a variety of costumes, unlike other regions. My favorite had to be La Alegria because it just looked fun and amusing.
I noticed very different styles of dances some felt like a wedding and ballroom types of dances. The girls skirt movements were graceful and looked like they really enjoyed dancing. Their skirt would move along with the motion of their shoulders and they spotted while turning. It looks like a very calm region like the steps look easy and seem repetitive.
I am extremely exited for this region. The song that I can say I enjoyed the most was La Alegria because it looked really energizing and fun. There was a lot of partner work which I would like to do as well.
I thought the foot work was excellent very girly and elegant. Some of the foot work and choreography really reminded me of the region Nuevo Leon it was just the music that was very different. The song El Puerto de illusion's costumes were floral and the skirts were cute and short it absolutely went with the song. Overall it looks like a very fun region to dance.
This region looks like it's everywhere as in a lot of different costumes and types of dancing. Over all, the moves look very soft in a way and very fun to try.
I really liked the footwork , it was very strong and flowed good ... And the songs were really nice
This region seems to have a lots of different styles, from there costumes to music. Even with the songs that were slower there foot work was still strong
I can't wait to learn Baja California Sur. The music is catchy and we're going to have so much fun with it because the music brings the energy up.
I really liked the music and footwork in the dances. I noticed they kept their posture. It made the dances look more fun.
I really enjoyed this region because it has a lot of different kinds of instruments like the banjo and accordion. I noticed that they had a lot of strong footwork and always had good posture and projection. They were most of the time all unison and i'm so excited to try this region!
This region is very elegant and I love the footwork and posture that every dancer had.
