Some similarities are the costumes with the aprons on the front and also they way the skirt is held, some differences are the way they wear their hair and the hair pieces that they are wearing.

I have seen the second video numerous times and I love the songs in it and really, I absolutely love the way it is danced and how the skirt movements are more showy. The songs are so catchy and everyone is smiling and it's like wow. The first video, I enjoyed as I have never seen it before obviously but the way it is dance, it's really good. Unison in both videos, I like the energy, the smiles, and the footwork is mainly clear.

Both videos portrayed Veracruz differently:
The first video had more tropical, colored costumes and shoes, where in the second video they used the traditional white costumes. Also the first used fans whereas in the second video they didn't. The music in this video also seemed more modern, thus less traditional as in the second. The second contained more theatrics, too with the big headed people. The movements were also smaller, where in the other video they were more exaggerated.
But similarly:
The skirts were held in the same style, and both used lots of shoulder work.

Both videos represented Veracruz in a tropical way and the traditional way. Both videos had really good foot work and held the skirt in the same way.

I really like the costumes in both videos, the are both similar with the aprons and the head pieces are pretty big compared to ones for Jalisco. There is also a lot of shoulder movement and complex footwork.

I really really liked the music for this region and the way the girls were so energetic until the end . I also noticed that the skirts were held the same in both videos and the footwork was really clean and pretty

The two videos represent Veracruz in two different ways. in the second video, the steps are very strong and you can hear the foot work, but it doesn't take away from the big and graceful movements of the skirt. there also appears to be a lot of Spanish influence in the strong short movements. in the first video it is more African sounding in roots and the skirt matches the same style.

Veracruz was shown in 2 very different ways. The costumes were different, one being white and the other black. There was a few similarities like both dances started off with two dancers and they both had dancing on those boxes. They music was pretty similar to each other, Overall it was a great way to see this region done in 2 different ways.

I really liked how different the costumes were of the non traditional song. Also, the footwork looked beautiful because it was clean.

I really like how the first video introduced the dances with the history and the dresses were colorful, they were together most of the time. The second video was the classic Veracruz, at the end everyone was together and the people in costumes made it look even more exciting.

They wear all white costumes with white shoes and big head pieces. However in the first video the costumes were very colorful. The music is mostly tropical and up beat. I really enjoy the second video because of the music and their big arm movements. They don't really bounce around.

Some differences between the two were the costumes, the first one was floral and the second was white. Fans were used in the first dance but not the second. The music was different for both of them. Some similarities is the way they held their dresses and both used shoulder work

I really enjoy watching both videos and my favorite would be the second . I love the white dress and the foot work. Both videos had different costumes for girls and guys. Their was a lot of strong foot work and more shoulder movement. It was really flirty and good music.

The first video seemed more of a modern salsa style, and the second video with white costumes was very traditional. Cupido is a nice dance and shows off flirty styles showing off. I prefer the traditional white costumes opposed to the black multi colored costumes in the first video.

The 2nd video was amazing! So much was going on and for a second it seemed like it wasn't even folklorico! That's amazing honestly. The footwork is very intense in both videos. Also it's really nice to see so many dancers on a stage doing the exact same thing, but then again, it seemed a bit clustered. Overall, both performances were very well done and really enjoyable to watch.
